Wow! Wiggling, giggling, singing, shaking, it all happens on Tuesdays! This 40 minute play- and movement-based program is for infants and toddlers and their families. Library staff encourage early literacy development through Talking, Singing, Reading, Writing, and Playing. Families are encouraged to participate and at-home extension activities are shared.
Silliness is our specialty! The library staff use this 30 minute story time to share our favorite short stories, simple songs, and rhymes. Families are encouraged to help build literacy skills through participation and at-home extension activities are shared.

Get ready to have FUN! This 60 minute event for families with busy toddlers and preschoolers only happens once a month, making it extra special. Opportunities for play-based learning using themes are offered throughout the Children’s Department. Each station encourages adult-child play and teaches early literacy skills. Come Explore with us!
Ready for some furry fun? This program for independent readers allows children in K-5th grade to practice their skills by reading to certified Therapy Dogs. The library supplies the books and the dogs, and the children become storytellers. Registration takes place the day of the event at the Children’s Desk.
Children and families are invited to build with LEGOs, Kapla blocks, Lincoln logs, foam blocks, and more! Are you up to the challenge?
This is an opportunity for community Chess players to learn skills and improve their game! Ages: Elementary school or others by request.
