Earth Day STEM Kit

Calling the curious, the creative, the calculating:

 

Young conservationists ages 8-12 are invited to take part in our Earth Day STEM kit! This take-home kit encourages exploration of the Earth and ways to protect it and includes several activities. Pick up in the Children’s Department or via curbside pickup by calling 417-623-7953. Supplies are limited to the first 20 children.

Virtual Storytime (Pre-Recorded)

Join your favorite Children’s Department staff for a fun themed storytime video every Tuesday morning! We will share new and old favorite stories, songs, rhymes, and early literacy activities. All videos will be posted on our YouTube channel. In February, we will talk and sing and read all about love, music, and fairy tales! Don’t forget to pick up a craft at the library or via curbside pickup beginning the Friday before storytime!

Takeout Kit–DIY Speakers

Explore and Play at Home: Garden Day

Buzz, buzz, it’s Explore and Play Garden Day!

Little explorers ages 2 to 5 are invited to pick up an Explore and Play at Home: Garden Day take-home kit on Saturday, April 17th in the Children’s Department. Each kit includes a special storytime video, four to five activities, and ideas for exploration at home!

Supplies are limited to the first 70 children.
