PAL Holiday Tea with The Opus 76 Quartet

The 2021 Post Art Library Holiday Tea features The Opus 76 Quartet and you’re invited! From its hometown of Kansas City, The Opus 76 Quartet has become recognized in journals worldwide for its entertaining and energetic interpretations of the classics.

Join us in Joplin Public Library’s Community Room for an afternoon performance of classical string quartet favorites. Specifically, A. Dvorak: Quartet No.12 in F Major, “American,” Op.96 and
The Danish String Quartet: Selections from Woodworks.

Each December, PAL hosts their Holiday Tea inside the library. Although they’re glad to again offer an in-person program, they’ll distribute Post Art Library Holiday Tea Take-Home kits at the end of this performance rather than offer treats during the event.

This is a free, all-ages public event. Registration not necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: in an effort to offer safe programming, masks will be required for all attendees ages 2 and older (per CDC guidelines), regardless of vaccination status.
