Chat & Craft : Craft-mas in July

It’s another Bring-Your-Own Craft day for this month’s Chat & Craft, but that’s not all we’re doing! Over the past few months members of our community have been gracious enough to donate plenty of craft magazines to the library. Now it’s time for you to take some home!

Quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, crochet, and cross stitch — we have a bit of everything! So join us on July 5th for Chat-mas in July!

Joplin Job Center Rep

A representative of the Joplin Job Center will be at the library, Friday, July 15th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The representative will be available to discuss career advancement.

Registration required: email teen@joplinpubliclibrary.org or bsnow@joplinpubliclibrary.org to register or for more information. We’ll meet at the conservation pond. Participants provide their own transportation to and from the event.

The State of Missouri requires a valid fishing license for participants ages 16 and up. Fishing licenses can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Academy Sports, or the MO Dept. of Conservation website, https://mdc-web.s3licensing.com/
