Movers and Shakers

This 40 minute play-and movement-based program is for infants and toddlers and their families. Library staff encourage early literacy development through talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. Families are encouraged to participate and at-home extension activities are shared.

1-2-3 Play With Me!

This five-week program for children ages 0 to 3 years and their families offers playtime with developmentally appropriate toys in a fun and relaxed environment. Community experts will be on hand to teach strategies for healthy child development, offer early literacy tips, and facilitate early interventions.

JOMO Ukesters Ukulele Club

Bring your ukulele and join us in Conference Room 1 for ukulele singalongs and the opportunity to share your ukulele knowledge with – and to learn from – other ukesters.

Beginners welcome, though basic ukulele knowledge is required.

This is a FREE public program. No registration necessary.

The library WILL NOT provide ukuleles for this event.

Casual Chess

We have board games, cards, and a Wii U for your gaming enjoyment plus some snacks.  We also have chess sets, and we’re not afraid to use them.  ?

Middle School Book Club

Each month we read a book on a different theme and chat about it.  We also pick the theme for the next month.  You choose the book you read.

Feel free to bring a brown bag supper; dessert is on us.

April’s theme is a “a book with a prank or a joke in it”.  Come ready for a laugh!

Marvel Film Fest

Gear up for Avengers: Endgame with a Marvel Film Fest!  We’re watching every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie from Iron Man to Ant-Man and the Wasp in order of theatrical release.  We’ll show a double feature each Saturday from March 9 to May 11, starting at noon.

May 11  Avengers: Infinity War (PG-13) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (PG-13)

All ages; free; no registration required.
