Learn the basics of coding with Python on our palm-sized Raspberry Pi computers. Sessions are taught by a local high school student. Skills learned in each session build on the one before, so participants should plan on attending all 4 sessions.

Anime and manga fans, this one’s for you. Meet other fans, watch anime, chat/rant/discuss; feel free to bring your drawings or sketchbook. Plus, we’ll have a craft and snacks.

Upcycle old technology–computers, keyboards, etc.–by taking it apart then using the pieces to create alien artworks. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes (trust us on this one).

Library staff will read books, sing songs, share rhymes and fingerplays, and offer hands-on activities to build literacy skills and develop school readiness skills.
