Reflections of Hunger Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of Reflections of Hunger: Disordered Eating & Body Image, an exhibit that runs June 29th-July 31st. This is a free, all-ages event. Registration and library card not necessary.

Curators’ Statement: Everyone knows someone with an eating disorder, whether we realize it or not. As common as eating disorders are, they can be difficult to understand. No textbook or lecture can truly show us what it is like, so we must hear those who are living this every day. Reflections of Hunger: Disordered Eating and Body Image Through Their Eyes is an art showcase featuring the lived experience of people in our community.

For more information, contact Jill at 417-623-7953 x1041.
