Middle School Book Club

Each month we read a book on a different theme and chat about it.  We also pick the theme for the next month.  You choose the book you read.

Feel free to bring a brown bag supper; dessert is on us.

February’s theme is “comedy”.  Come ready for a chat and some laughs!

As You Wish

Inconceivable!  We’re showing an audience participation version of The Princess Bride for teens and adults.  Come prepared to join in the fun with callouts and your favorite lines.  This is a festive, say-the-lines-out-loud event, so expect a non-traditional, group participation experience.  Costumes are welcome–no swords, please.  Have fun storming the castle!

Grade 7-adult; no registration; rated PG.

Ukulele Club

Let’s play! The purpose of Ukulele Club is to bring together people who appreciate and either play or would like to play ukulele.

Bring your ukulele and join us for ukulele singalongs and the opportunity to learn a new song, followed by time to share your ukulele knowledge with – and to learn from – other ukesters.

We recommend that complete beginners (or those who would like a basics refresher) show up at 1:30 for an intro/review.

This is a FREE public program open to beginning and advanced ukulele players. No registration necessary.

The library WILL NOT provide ukuleles for this event.
