Film Night: The Last Man on Earth

In celebration of the upcoming Victoria Price Author Visit, Post Art Library is hosting a Vincent Price film night at the library!

Join us in Community Room West for a FREE screening of the 1964 film The Last Man on Earth, a black and white post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson.

We’ll provide the popcorn! Bring your own (alcohol free) drinks and other movie snacks.

Film Night at Bookhouse Cinema on Thursday, October 10th, 7pm: Join us at Bookhouse Cinema for a FREE screening of British horror comedy film Theatre of Blood starring Vincent Price. (In collaboration with Bookhouse Cinema and the MSSU Honors Program.)

Victoria Price Author Visit with Post Art Library at Joplin Public Library on Monday, November 18th, 6pm: Vincent Price: Master of Menace: Lover of Life features intimate family photos and insights into Vincent Price’s career as an actor, art historian, public speaker, and philanthropist. Victoria, Price’s daughter and biographer, explores the life and life-affirming philosophy of the actor, father, and public figure who remains cinema’s beloved King of Horror. A book signing will follow the presentation.

Victoria Price Author Visit with MSSU Honors Program at Missouri Southern State University on Tuesday, November 19th, 6pm: Three Unexpected Words to Transform Your Life In this inspiring talk, motivational speaker and inter-spiritual minister Victoria Price will share a four-step process to transforming even the most stubborn issues in people’s lives through the invocation of three little words that most of us are taught to fear, ignore, or deride.
