We often have part-time or volunteer positions available.
SCHEDULE: Part-time position, non-exempt (20 per week). Available to work normal Library hours, particularly Mondays, and afternoon/evening hours Tuesday through Friday, but occasional weekends after a training period.
Sample schedule: Monday 9 am to 6pm, Tuesday 4 pm to 8 pm, Thursday 3 pm to 8 pm & Friday 3 pm to 6 pm.
DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted until position is filled, but first consideration given to applications received by 8/17/2026.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists users in the Computer Lab with basic operation of Lab equipment including; PCs, Scanners, Printers and Copiers. Position requiring familiarity with Library procedures, policies and offerings; and an ability to interpret these to users.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent. Must have excellent customer service skills, able to assist users of varying technical aptitude, and work independently. Successful applicants will be able to follow departmental procedures and enforce library policies in a firm, yet gracious manner. Above average computer skills will be required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications. Candidates will be required to pass a background check.
BENEFITS: Benefits package includes a monthly accrual of sick and personal leave, a yearly accrual of two weeks vacation and ten paid holidays per year; health, dental, and vision insurance available at COBRA rates.
STARTING SALARY:$15.1229/hr

SCHEDULE: Half-time (20 hours per week), non-exempt

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: This position supports the Circulation Department by serving the needs of library patrons and organizing the return of library materials to their designated locations. This is a clerical position requiring outstanding customer service skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational proficiency, familiarity with Library policies and procedures, and the ability to interpret these to the public. Half-time, non-exempt position.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Two years customer service experience required or two years post high school education completed (college, technical or trade school, the military, etc)

SALARY: $15.12 per hour

would occasionally cover for the full-time custodian.
