Programs for Kids
Sunday, September 12th
- 2:00 PM - Children's Lego Club
All ages of children up through 5th grade are invited to join us for the Lego Club where everyone will have a chance to create something spectacular out of Legos! This month's theme: Aircraft Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The library is currently accepting Lego donations from the community to help support future club meetings. Please bring all donations to the Children’s Desk at the Joplin Public Library.

Screen Actors Guild Members read children's books aloud. Each book includes accompanying activities and lessons.

A subject searchable graphical database for kindergarten through grade 5 containing information from elementary reference sources and magazines.
Reading Rockets
Techniques for teaching reading, strategies to help kids who struggle, booklists, and extensive resources for parents, teachers and families.
