All ages of children up through fifth grade are invited to watch a PG movie about a tiny island where food falls from the sky. We'll be sitting on the floor, so you'll probably want to bring a blanket or towel to sit on. Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Trained therapy dogs will be in the Library hoping to hear a good story! We'll provide the books and independent readers in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to be the storytellers. Registration takes place at the Children's Desk on the day of the event.

Screen Actors Guild Members read children's books aloud. Each book includes accompanying activities and lessons.

Techniques for teaching reading, strategies to help kids who struggle, booklists, and extensive resources for parents, teachers and families.
